English: Vice Admiral Bimal Verma AVSM took over as the 13th Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman & Nicobar Command (CINCAN) on 29 Feb 16, succeeding Vice Admiral Pradeep Kumar Chatterjee PVSM, AVSM, NM, ADC who retired after 39 years of illustrious service on 29 Feb 16.
