How to draw a plan of sikhara with 5 rathas :

  • 1-Green color : a circle with in black color 24 rays (only 14 are drawn to simplify the drawing).
  • 2-Blue color : square inscripted in the circle. Two equilateral triangles joined by a median of the square.
  • 3- 2 intersection points (red stars) between the two triangles and the rays on part of those of the cardinal points.
  • 4-Red color : a concentric circle passing through these points of intersection (8 points with all the symmetries).
  • 5-Magenta color : drawing of the plan of the rathas.
  • 6-Brown color : the walls of the inner space. Based on intersections of the triangles and some rays.

Comment tracer le plan d'un sikhara avec 5 rathas :

  • 1-En vert : un cercle avec en noir 24 rayons (seuls 14 sont dessinés pour alléger le dessin).
  • 2-En bleu : un carré inscrit. Deux triangles équilatéraux accolés par la base sur une médiane du carré.
  • 3- 2 points d'intersection (étoiles rouges) entre les deux triangles et les rayons de part de d'autre de ceux des points cardinaux.
  • 4-En rouge : un cercle concentrique passant par ces points d'intersection (au nombre de 8 avec toutes les symétries).
  • 5-En magenta : la construction du plan des rathas.
  • 6-En marron : les murs intérieurs, basés sur des points à l'intersection des triangles et des rayons.
