I noticed three stories coming together in this photograph. First, the monorail rake on test, formerly a rare sighting, now more common. Second, the heavy traffic at the time. Third, a flash mob of birds that appeared in the frame. The photo was done completely on auto.

I then masked the birds using a chain of levels, quick-masking and layer masking. Then, I added enough contrast to make them more visible. The Monorail rake was masked too, and I added enough contrast and blue saturation to make the rake more prominent. I then masked out the traffic, to make it a little more yellow. No lens blur- this photo is way too crowded.
