English: Winged youth with a sword, probably Thanatos, personification of death. Detail of a sculptured marble column drum from the Temple of Artemis at Ephesos, ca. 325-300 BC. Found at the south-west corner of the temple.
Français : Jeune homme ailé portant une épée, probablement Thanatos, personnification de la mort. Détail d'un tambour de chapiteau en marbre sculpté provenant du temple d'Artémis à Éphèse, vers 325-300 av. J.-C. Découvert dans le coin sud-ouest du temple.
Deutsch: Geflügelter Jüngling mit Schwert, wahrscheinlich Thanatos, als Personifizierung des Todes. Detail einer gemeisselten Marmorsäule des Artemis von Ephesos Tempels, ca. 325–300 BC. Gefunden in der südwestlichen Ecke des Tempels.
